Where We Operate

Lamar County Animal Services provides enforcement and animal control services within unincorporated Lamar County and contracted service areas. As a Sheriff’s Office detachment, our work is directly connected to public safety operations and law enforcement coordination.

 

We respond to concerns involving:

• Dangerous or aggressive animals

• Animal cruelty or neglect

• Nuisance violations

• Stray animal issues impacting the community (this does not include feral cats)
