Solid Waste Authority

If you subscribe to the curbside pickup program, you are allowed to bring up to 4,000 pounds of waste to the landfill annually at no extra charge. (Resident must transport waste to landfill)

INFORMATION FOR CITIZENS TO USE THE LAMAR COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY LANDFILL

Lamar County residents who do NOT subscribe to the curbside pickup program must present either a driver's license, utility bill, or other document with your name and Lamar County address. 

​

 - The hours for Saturdays are from 8a-12p. No dump trailers or commercial dumping allowed on Saturdays. Please allow enough time to finish unloading by 12 noon. 

 - Lamar County residents must be signed in by 11:30am if a trailer is being used for dumps. Gate will close at 12 noon.
