About the Clerk...
Caleb Tyson has served as Clerk of Lamar County Superior and Juvenile Courts since January 1, 2015. He began his service with the Clerk's Office in January 2013 as an Assistant Clerk and was later appointed Deputy Clerk before advancing to the position of Chief Deputy Clerk. Since assuming office, Caleb has remained dedicated to professional growth and continuing education. Each year, he completes the annual continuing education requirements for Georgia Superior Court Clerks through specialized training programs conducted by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia.

A graduate of University of Georgia, Caleb earned a degree in Corp and Soil Science in (year). He began his professional career as a Farm Manager before transitioning into a management role within the construction industry, where he served until joining the Clerk's Office in 2013.
Caleb has been married to Elizabeth Abbott Tyson since 2002, and together they are the proud parents of three sons: Levi Tyson, Ethan Tyson, and Joshua Tyson, all graduates of Lamar County High School. The Tyson family has been active members of Trinity Reformed Baptist Church for more than a decade, volunteering their time in support of numerous church committees and ministries.
