Chairman: Ryran Traylor
Hello, I'm Ryran Traylor, the Chairman for the Lamar County Board of Commissioners. I am also part of the Barnesville Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. Scroll down to learn more about me.
My Story
I grew up in Lamar County where I was part of extra curriculars, volunteered at church, and learned unique skills in Boy Scouts from my Scout Masters Betty Crawford, Bob Cloudt, Bob Wright, Lloyd Hammocks, and Grady Banks. I later continued my education at Georgia Southern where I played football and got involved with Student Government and served as the President. I eventually graduated from Georgia Southern with a Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Community Health. Though I graduated, I went back to school at Troy University where I obtained my Masters degree in Business Administration/Healthcare, and I am now in my third year of pursuing my Doctorate degree in Public Health and Leadership at Georgia Southern. Through all these events, I have also joined the Barnesville Chamber of Commerce and Rotary club. I've also entered the Healthcare field and specialize in Physical Therapy. I have a loving wife named Jessica Traylor, and two wonderful children named Ryla and Hudson. In my free time I like to travel, play sports, restore old cars with my son, and be with my family.
